This Columbus Day, we honor the spirit of courage, perseverance, and discovery that has long guided those who answer the call to serve. To Georgia VFW, Veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard, and Reservists: thank you for navigating challenges with honor, standing firm in your convictions, and serving a purpose greater than yourselves.
Like every worthy journey, service requires steady hands, clear direction, and a commitment to timeless principles. Guided by duty, integrity, and brotherhood, you continue to light the way for future generations.
Today, we recognize not only the destinations reached, but the character forged along the path. May your course remain true, your compass steadfast, and the light of service continue to guide your way.
Happy Columbus Day.
