Georgia VFW Auxiliary Family,
As we gather for Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for each of you. Our Auxiliary stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the VFW on the front lines of service, supporting our Veterans, strengthening our communities, and lifting up the families who have sacrificed so much for our nation. Your dedication, kindness, and tireless efforts make an incredible impact across Georgia every single day.
Now, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I promised two funnies, so here we go:
- If you see me going back for a third plate on Thursday… just remember, I’m not overeating—I’m conducting “morale support operations.”
- And if your turkey turns out dry, don’t worry… just call it “MRE-style” and all the Veterans will understand.
All jokes aside, I could not be prouder to serve alongside this outstanding Auxiliary. You are the heart of the VFW family, and our mission is stronger because of your compassion, your commitment, and your unwavering support of every Veteran and their loved ones.
