In recognition of their outstanding effort, District 1 will be awarded $500 to continue advancing their membership initiatives.

Battling Beyond 105%

State Commander Couch set a bold goal by challenging Posts across Georgia to reach 105% in overall membership. This ambitious target not only drives growth but also strengthens the Georgia VFW’s position as a leading voice for veterans, both at the Gold Dome in Atlanta and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. These efforts ensure the VFW remains a vital force in supporting veterans and their families throughout communities across the state.

To reward Posts that met or exceeded 105% membership by the end of April and that grew by at least one percent or added ten members during the months of March and April, each qualifying Post was entered into a $300 drawing, with one winner selected per Georgia VFW Membership Division.
