Happy Holiday Season from VFW Department of Georgia

Commander’s 2022 Christmas Message

Comrades, Auxiliary Members, and Your Families;

As the hustle and bustle of the next few days subsides and 2022 draws to a close, I want all of you to know how much I appreciate what you have done and do every day in support of our mission. I am extremely proud to be the Commander of the Department of Georgia.

While we have done a lot this past year, we have not reached the summit of the mountain we need to climb. We are starting 2023 with the VFW and Auxiliary Departments working together on an Auxiliary Circle of Excellence project to collect items to replenish local food banks. District Commanders and Presidents will be flowing this information down to you. We expect many requests for assistance in submitting claims for individuals eligible under the PATH ACT and Camp Lejeune Settlement… and much more.

Take time during this holiday season for a well-deserved respite. I hope all have opportunities for family, friends, merriment, love, and most especially PEACE! I pray for good health for everyone!

Please accept my best wishes for a Happy Holiday season!

God Bless all!
