Legacy membership enables VFW members to leave a lasting impression on the nation’s largest combat veterans’ organization. The Legacy member’s name will be associated with the Post forever. And, when you choose the “Continue the Endowment” option, the Post and Department will receive money every year in the member’s name forever. Forever.

 
Legacy Life: If you are a current Life Member, you can upgrade to a Legacy Life members that not only offers expanded and exclusive benefits, but also helps ensure that the VFW’s good work will continue for generations to come. Deceased LIfe Members can also be upgraded to Legacy Life to ensure their name lives on with the Post and Department. What a great way to honor a past Life Member.

Legacy Memorial: Deceased Annual/Continuous members can be upgraded to a Legacy Memorial membership. Their name will be added to the rolls and their name will live on with the Post forever. You have the same “Continue the Endowment” option

Legacy members can select from three prestigious membership levels: Gold, Silver, or Bronze are available for both Legacy Life and Legacy Memorial memberships. Each offers a selection of exclusive benefits.

 

Once activated, the Legacy membership will endow additional income – made in the member’s name – that will provide a stable financial foundation for both your Post and the VFW.
